Creed Miles & Co were asked to help create a new working environment within the Logicalis Head
Quarters, to accommodate 35 new work stations on the second floor. In addition to the new work space, it was decided that a ‘touch-down’ area was needed for the sales team in the atrium area on the ground floor. An area where they could meet, relax and network.
THE BRIEF
The new working area had to look modern and also be cost effective - special attention had to be given to the cable management system, along with the positioning of the individual work units, screens, size of workstations and hardware. On the other hand the ‘touch-down’ area had to give
an impression of calm, while still being modern and practical.
THE SOLUTION
Working closely with the client, the Creed Miles design team received CAD drawings showing the
position of workstations, meanwhile the data cabling was underway, followed by the new flooring. Creed Miles also responsible for supplying and installing colour coordinated furniture, chairs and screens.
To create the atmosphere in the ‘touch-down’ area, bespoke side lighting, chairs and screens were
produced and installed, to compliment the new flooring. From initial CAD designs and drawings,
the finished project was delivered within two weeks.
