Creed Miles & Co won a competitive tender to supply and fit the flooring for Qinetiq’s 450m2 restaurant area,at their prestigious head office at Farnborough.

THE BRIEF

To supply and fit durable flooring throughout,utilising both vinyl and carpet. The colour scheme would have to compliment QuinetiQ’s corporate branding,and the materials would have to comply to their strict ‘Green & Environmental’ policy. The restaurant serves 200 breakfasts and 700 lunches
everyday,as well as providing ‘break-out’ areas for staff for meetings throughout the day.

THE SOLUTION

Obviously the flooring had to be very durable with due thought to ease of maintenance,because of the high volume of traffic,if it was to have a life expectancy of 8 years as demanded by the client.
Creed Miles produced various designs and colour schemes and after working very closely with QinetiQ, Bonar Floor Flotex products were chosen,as they met all the requirements of durability,colour ranges and are environmentally friendly. The flooring was installed
over three consecutive week-ends,within budget and with the minimum of disruption to QinetiQ.
