Creed Miles & Co were selected from a short list of suppliers, to furnish the new Environmental
Sciences Department building at Syngenta, a world leader in agrochemicals with their global research
centre at Jealotts Hill.

THE BRIEF

To create a high quality and durable working environment for the 72 members of staff,
incorporating the latest product design, along with colour coordination throughout.

THE SOLUTION

Initial CAD layouts were produced by the Creed Miles design team and the interior space planning was agreed by the client.Er gonomics and practicality was essential, so a fully height-adjustable desking system was chosen from the Emmein office furniture range, for maximum user comfort.T he desks were also fitted with individual acoustic screens for privacy.
Other areas included meeting rooms, which were finished with Tract tables which are designed to
accommodate the most modern technology, along with bespoke modules supplied by Office Electrics.
To accompany the desking, top of the range ergonomic seating was also specified from Hag,
Orangebox and Tract.
Specialist filing requirements were solved by using a versatile steel storage system throughout, all with matching colour ways to complement the interior. Even the locker rooms were given special attention by the design team, who recommended the unique space-saving ‘Z’ design lockers from Kemmlit.
Attention to detail was key to successful project management.Ha ving worked closely alongside Syngenta, Creedmiles installed the project on-time and to the exact requirements of the CAD designs and layouts provided.
