BRIEF

For this particular project, Creed Miles was asked to tender and submit ideas for the replacement of all floor coverings in the property over the three floors of the building.

THE SOLUTION

We suggested a wood effect safety vinyl for the living areas, corridors, landings and staircases, a further safety vinyl was chosen for the lavatories, showers, laundry rooms and staircase. Finally, the entrance lobby was fitted with a two stage entrance barrier matting.

Creed Miles worked in partnership with the home and the decorators, working on only one wing at a time, making sure each floor was completed fully before starting on another. In this way, the least amount of disturbance to the residents was ensured by only moving them the once.

The landings, stairs and entrance lobby were completed half at a time to allow constant access to the building by residents and staff.

WHAT WE DID

  • Safety Vinyl Flooring
  • Entrance Barrier Mating

The project was a great success as a result of Creed Miles attention to detail and project management. The client was so pleased with the result that the specified products used and the method of installation are now being rolled out over the county.
